Located in the heart of Bas-Armagnac, also recognized as the Premier Cru, the Artez vineyard covers 12 hectares planted with Baco, Ugni blanc and Folle blanche grapes. After the harvest, the grapes are distilled in the property’s still and then aged by variety in black oak barrels from the Monlezun forest. The singularity of Artez is to produce single-varietal Armagnacs, a very rare specialty that requires skill and special attention from cultivation to aging through distillation. This gives the eaux-de-vie character.

Artez – Baco - 40% - 700 ml

The Baco grape variety appeared in the appellation after the Phylloxera crisis, it gives powerful eaux-de-vie with notes of candied fruit and prunes. Aging for 10 years in French oak barrels brings rancio and complexity.

Artez – Folle blanche – 40% – 700 ml

Folle blanche is the original grape variety and now the rarest in Bas-Armagnac (less than 5% of the area planted), it gives eaux-de-vie with floral and fruity notes (accacia, honey). Aging for 10 years in French oak barrels brings rancio and complexity.

Artez – Ugni Blanc – 40% – 700 ml
