Founded in 1832, La maison CASTAREDE is the oldest Maison d’Armagnac in France. Its know-how has been passed down for generations. It was Florence Castarède, sixth generation, who in 2016 obtained the EPV label (Living Heritage Company) which rewards craft businesses with rare, renowned or ancestral know-how.Maison Castarède today produces its Armagnacs on its estate, the Château de Maniban, located in the heart of Bas Armagnac.  Their estate planted with 4 grape varieties (Colombard, Baco, Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche) has just received the HVE label (High Environmental Value Exploitation).Maison Castarède allows its Armagnacs a longer aging time than those required by law to obtain balanced Armagnacs with great finesse.
