At the heart of all our activities lies the Château de Gensac – a 13 th century castle nested in a 300-hectare estate.
It is this very tradition that thrives our passion for excellence and originality in producing some of the most spectacular regional wines and Armagnacs.
Typical GENSAC
Soil mainly composed of clay and limestone – this is the key to our great products!
The grapes for our top wines are handpicked which ensures we only add the best grapes into our wines.
Low yield per hectare – we want to ensure best quality and not quantity.
Intense full-bodied character wines which reflect our terroir and region.
New French Oak Barrels for our best wines and also for Armagnacs – something that really makes us stand out.
We are officially in conversion to Organic production since 2020
Having said that we already since years produce on a very strict application of sustainable agriculture and thus the official labeling process of Organic is really more a move to respond to market requirements rather than changing our philosophy.
