Each Armagnac is produced in the South-West of France, specifically in the Gers, Landes, and Lot-et-Garonne departments, and then exported throughout France and internationally to places like the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Italy. The different types of Armagnac are named based on their origin: – Bas-Armagnac comes from western Gers and the Landes – Ténarèze is produced in northern Gers and Lot-et-Garonne – Haut-Armagnac is made in the eastern and southern parts of the appellation area.
